In 2018,  a group of prior military rodeo cowboys  and cowgirls re-booted the MRCA with the intent of once again becoming  the premier military rodeo association in the country.

In 2019 the MRCA  crowned their first season champions when the Marine Corps Derrick  Linneman won the SB and Army's Dusty Futch won the BR.
In 2020, despite  a  worldwide pandemic, the association held its first World Finals in 20  years and crowned a World Champion Bull Rider. Teegan Peterson of the  USMC topped a talented field of riders to win his first MRCA World  Champion buckle.  This WFR saw the return of Air Force veteran Wayne Boney  from retirement to place third in the world and notch his 18th WFR  qualification extending his record book setting HOF career.
The  2021 season saw fewer rodeos due to continued pandemic effects but  there were enough to crown season champions in Bull Riding and Barrel  Racing.  Dylan Robinson from the Army squeaked by fellow Army bull rider  Tre Stewart in the Bull Riding and Matthew Eubanks also from the Army  won the Barrel Racing.
With  the pandemic fully behind the organization, the 2022 season started off  with a huge event in Pasadena, Tx that saw Army veteran Joe Baptiste,  Marine veterans Chris Skeeters and Teegan Peterson all capture go-round  wins in the Bull Riding.  USAF Reservist Harrison Hess won it all in the  Chute Dogging while National Guard member Jerrod Miller won the Tie  Down Roping.  Marine Corp veterans Kendall Oakley and Adam Pollard won  rounds in the Barrel Racing.  Army veteran Diana Brogan and Navy veteran  Jonathan Freeman each won a round of Break Away Roping.
With  many co-sanctioned events across the country,  MRCA cowboys and  cowgirls were able to continue competing in places like Ft. Worth TX,  Crawford NE, Hope Mills SC, Pauls Valley OK and Panquitch UT.  The MRCA  also held a full rodeo at Whitewright TX that crowned winners such as  Army veteran Mike Hall and Air Force veteran Travis Beck in the Team  Roping, Army veteran Eric Walnofer in the Bull Riding and Chute  Dogging.  Navy veteran Jessica Beck won the Barrel Racing while husband  Travis Beck won the Break Away Roping.
The  2022 season champions were Harrison Hess in Chute Dogging, Chris  Skeeters in Bull Riding, Jerrod Miller in Tie Down Roping, Kendall  Oakley in Barrel Racing, Diana Brogan in Break Away Roping, Johnny Drew  in Team Roping Heading and Adam Pollard in Team Roping Heeling.  Army veteran Joe Baptiste won the All Around.  Due to unfortunate circumstances, the 2022 WFR was canceled and World Championships were not awarded.
