David Misner, as part of Misner & Son Rodeo Company provided stock for military rodeos from 1980-1990. He was chosen to provide stock at the weeklong Del Mar, CA military rodeo four times. In addition to Del Mar, he also provided stock to the Marine Corp Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) 29 Palms, CA rodeo on six occasions. David also produced the Camp Pendleton, CA rodeo twice which always stretches a stock contractor due to the high number of entries in the rough stock events.
While he focused on producing rodeos, David also provided a practice facility for aspiring rough stock riders each week. He always tried to help the military cowboys by offering reduced cost practice rides and holding rodeo schools solely for the military cowboys. His work with the practice pen and rodeos produced in southern California resulted in his selection as the prime stock contractor for the military finals rodeo held at 29 Palms, CA in 1987.
In addition to military rodeos David has continued to provide stock for IPRA rodeos, High School rodeos and jackpot bull riding events. He has had several bucking horses selected for the International Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City, OK.
