Jessica Beck was born in Ft. Worth, TX and grew up riding horses and competing in high school rodeo in GBR, Poles, Goat Tying and Cutting. She joined the U.S. Navy in 2003.
After attending A-school in Meridian, MS, she was assigned to the USS Tarawa Amphibious Assault Ship as a Yeoman with home port in San Diego, CA. In 2007 she transferred to active reserves and was stationed at Joint Base Ft. Worth until 2009.
Jessica has been a competitor and promoter of military rodeos since 2008. She competes in GBR, BRA, TR and SW as a hazer. She has competed in military rodeos in Alaska, Texas, Minnesota and Oklahoma. Her accomplishments have resulted in her being the most decorated woman in military rodeo as she has won eleven world titles in Barrel Racing, Break Away Roping, and Women’s All-Around in the Professional Armed Forces Rodeo Association (PAFRA). Along with her world titles, she has also won multiple PAFRA circuit championships and reserve world championships.
After separating from the Navy in 2009, Jessica has been active in supporting PAFRA as an event director on several occasions and on the executive board as association secretary while continuing to compete. She currently trains horses in Pauls Valley, OK and has produced horses that have won many high school, college, and pro rodeos. She has also produced the annual Military Timed Event rodeo since 2020 while continuing to compete in PAFRA, WPRA, UPRA, IPRA and WCRA rodeos.
